Fresh Fruit Please

The first few times Mark travelled to Darwin when he asked the kids what they would like him to bring back he got the usual response

Big ticket items
Junk Food
Fast Food (apparently Hungry Jacks will sell unmade burgers to complete at home gross)
Clothes

However it only takes a few months with no fruit to speak of except bananas and what comes out of a can to extract the response fruit. So Mark took and esky and filled it with rock melons, apples, pears and kiwi fruit. Hooray all happily munched on a multitude of fresh fruit for days. The simple things hey who would have guessed!

Mark also went to the "Emporium" the place in Dawin for all spices and sauces look what returned on the flying bird carefully packed in the middle of the suitcase wow.......add this to the Miso Paste and Udon Noddles Amy sent me and I have a pantry ready to produce something extraorinary!

Action Man

Darcy has been very committed to his time on the bike. He has uncovered a secret bike track constructed by kids that have the same passion as him its called “NANIA”. When he first told me about I said “Wow what a great name; Nania as in the Chronicles of”. “No Mum” said Darcy as in “Nania your business”..... apologies to CS Lewis.

Saturday he went out with his shovel to “Build Jumps" at Nania he left at 10 in the morning and didn't come home till 5pm.

Then he went and jumped at the skate park from 6.00-8.30pm needless to say 9pm saw him into bed. This morning he took the camera and captured this trick at the skate park before torrential rain set in this afternoon.

The whole garden was flooded in a matter of minutes water is lapping at the font door I tried to capture it but I’m afraid photo’s don’t do the experience of “The Wet” much justice.

Mark is supposed to be on a flight to Darwin tonight but I wonder if it will happen at all in this weather, and even if it does I’m assuming he will be able to get out of the front door!
